Cancer Care Services

Cancer can be difficult for patients to endure, as they contend with challenges and hardships. Cancer Support Services at Boston Medical Center helps patients every step of the way—from diagnosis to treatment and recovery—by providing comprehensive services, programs and events to help ease their journeys. Year-round, patients, survivors and their families participate in a variety of offerings to help lift their spirits and find a community amongst others who are going through similar experiences. Cancer Support Services complements the care delivered in the Moakley Building and is crucial to the well-being of patients, which includes support programs, patient navigation, social work, nutrition and genetic counseling.

Whether it is a potluck dinner, transportation assistance, a survivor's luncheon or a yoga class, patients find comfort in knowing they are supported in every aspect by Boston Medical Center.
