| The Benefit of Exercise for Those With Spinal Cord Injury
Journey Forward is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in Canton Massachusetts, dedicated to improving
the lives of those who have suffered a spinal cord Injury. By applying the latest research on the effects of exercise on spinal cord injury, Journey Forward uses an intense exercise program to provide recovery, increase overall health and create independence. Research has shown this application is beneficial to improving the lives of those with spinal cord injury.
This months lecture will discuss the theory and practical application of the benefit of exercise with spinal cord injury, topics will focus on:
• The Theory of Exercise Based Recovery
• Application of These Theories
• Exercises To Do At Home
At the conclusion of the lecture, there will be time for questions and open discussion around the topics and information presented.
