Berline’s Story

Berline was five weeks pregnant when she found out she had breast cancer. This devastating diagnosis was followed by even more upsetting news when she discovered it was stage four. However, managing treatment in addition to her pregnancy did not bring Berline down. She delivered her beautiful baby boy, Messiah, slightly premature, but most importantly, healthy. Berline has been in remission since December of 2015, and most recently participated in BMC’s Catwalk for Cancer Care—an annual fundraising event celebrating cancer survivorship.
