Care Packages for the Child Witness to Violence Program | Year Round

3-10 people
In partnership with Cradles to Crayons, the Child Witness to Violence Program delivers essential items such as clothing and school supplies to low-income and homeless children and families. Volunteers spend their time sorting Cradles to Crayons donations into care packages based on individual family needs.

Door Decorating | Year Round

Spend time on our pediatric and/or geriatric inpatient units decorating patient doors! Door decorations create a welcoming environment for patients when they’re not able to be at home.

Project TRUST provides addiction treatment resources, harm reduction education & supplies, and navigation to an array of medical services including primary care and urgent care. Volunteers pack bags with personal hygiene items at their office or at BMC.

Gifts That Matter Wish List | Year Round

Can’t volunteer in person? Send the program of your choice an item off of their Amazon wish list!

Rooftop Farm Volunteer | Spring-Fall

5-10 people (reserved for BMC Corporate Partners)
Three stories above BMC’s power plant thrives a 2,658 square foot farm with more than 25 types of crops. The farm provides fresh, local produce to patients, cafeterias, the Demonstration Kitchen, and Preventive Food Pantry, and is also part of BMC’s commitment to going green. Groups of up to 10 volunteers have the opportunity to tend to and harvest crops with BMC’s Rooftop Farmer.
