Corporate Partnerships

Corporate Volunteerism

Corporate volunteerism at Boston Medical Center empowers your company to make an impact while strengthening employee engagement. Through hands-on volunteer opportunities, corporate partners support our mission to advance clinical excellence, promote health equity, and drive innovation in patient care. Volunteering with us allows employees to contribute time and talent while connecting with your company’s values.

Door Decorating

5 volunteers per shift
Create a welcoming environment for our youngest patients and their families by decorating patient doors in our pediatric unit. Companies often organize an office teambuilding opportunity to create the decorations and a smaller group will attend the volunteer session at BMC to decorate.

Entertainment Cart

5 volunteers per shift
Deliver books, crosswords, coloring supplies, and more to BMC waiting rooms. These materials provide comfort and a necessary distraction for patients and guests while in the hospital. To invite greater participation, companies often host a book drive in their office ahead of the volunteer session.

Rooftop Farm Volunteer | Spring-Fall

15 volunteers per shift (reserved for BMC corporate partners currently giving $50,000 annually)
BMC deeply understands that our environment impacts our health. With two rooftop farms, we’re working to strengthen at-risk local food systems, reduce our carbon footprint, and increase green space. The farms also stock our Preventive Food Pantry, a first-of-its-kind program in which physicians can “prescribe” foods that facilitate health and recovery for many clinical diagnoses. During this session, volunteers assist BMC’s farmers with tending to and harvesting crops.
