Catwalk for BMC Cancer Care

Unfortunately, due to the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, Boston Medical Center has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Catwalk for BMC Cancer Care. The health of both guests and the hospital’s immunocompromised cancer patients is of utmost importance. We look forward to celebrating cancer survivorship with you in 2021!

Catwalk for BMC Cancer Care, presented in partnership with 33 Munroe, is an annual fashion show fundraiser featuring patients and staff of BMC’s Cancer Care Center as runway models. Models are dressed by local designers and stylists who create custom looks for their “victory walks” down the runway. Catwalk is a celebration of survivorship, honoring those who have persevered through long days, months and even years of cancer treatment, triumphantly coming out on the other side. Funds raised support the department’s ancillary services which address barriers to treatment and recovery, such as poor housing and lack of transportation.
