How You Make An Impact

By fundraising with Team BMC, you help create a healthier, more equitable future for all. BMC is not only home to world-class clinicians and innovative treatments—we also are pioneers of programs that impact lasting good health. Much of this work is not reimbursable through insurance and relies on generous supporters like you.

Here are just a few examples:

  • Economic Mobility: Health is inextricably tied to wealth. That’s why BMC created an Economic Justice Hub to offer financial coaching, pathways to jobs, free tax preparation services, and more for families when they come in for appointments.
  • Food as Medicine: Our hospital-based food pantry, the first-of-its-kind in the nation, distributes more than 1 million pounds of nutritious food to patients and their families each year. BMC’s Teaching Kitchen uses fresh ingredients in our healthy cooking and nutrition classes for our community. Some of the fresh produce used by these programs is grown at our very two Rooftop Farms.
  • Urgent Health Needs: BMC is working with and within our community to meet mental health needs. Through our BEST mental health crisis intervention program, BMC is working with the police, judicial system, and schools to ensure people get the care they need where and when they need it.
