Mike's 5K to Crush Substance Abuse
Thank you to all of the Team BMC athletes who joined us at the 7th annual Mike’s 5K to Crush Substance Abuse. Our athletes’ participation raised critical funds for BMC’s Grayken Center for Addiction and other local organizations working to improve the lives of people with substance use disorder.
About the Grayken Center for Addiction
Paving the way for landmark legislation, leading research, and treatment efforts, the Grayken Center for Addiction is a hub for 10 programs that meet the diverse needs of our patient population; program highlights include:
- Preventative care to stop the cycle of addiction in families
- Best-in-class addiction medicine education; people from 50 states and 187 countries have accessed online training resources
- Care of more than 800 patients in the largest office-based opioid treatment program of its kind in New England.
