We take pride in the excellent care our nurses provide and thank them for all they do to fuel our mission. To recognize them during National Nurses Week, May 6-12, we asked our community of patients, colleagues, donors, and friends to send messages of kudos and well wishes. Enjoy!
Thank you for taking amazing care of me at BMC.
Happy National Nurses Week! I’d like to thank Nurse Dina Riley, BSN, RN for always displaying care and professionalism each time I attended a doctor’s appointment. You can really feel the love and care while being professional that she naturally has for people each and every time. I love how she goes beyond her normal duties to help you receive the care that you need. I’m older than Nurse Dina, however, each time she cares for me, I’m reminded of my mother’s love. Thank you Nurse Dina.
Happy Nurses Week to all BMC nurses! I have always received exceptional care from the nurses at BMC. Special shout out to Nirphemy Dambreville-Lundy, NP, who I will be forever grateful to for the care I received from her at the end of 2023. It truly changed my life for the better 🙂
THANK YOU to all the 5B nurses at Crosstown GIM! You are all amazing and provide such incredible care to each and every patient you see. 🙂
Thank you to all the nurses at BMC! Your dedication and compassion helped us as my son underwent his surgeries. We are so grateful for the care and support. Happy Nurses Week!
Thank you for being the amazing faces of our inpatient and outpatient care “rain or shine.”
Happy National Nurses Week to all the wonderful, hardworking, and caring nurses at BMC. I have had the pleasure of working with Christine Naoum in Pediatrics, and appreciate her positive professionalism when interacting with the patients and her support to clinicians.
Happy National Nurses Week! Thank you for all your excellent care!
Happy National Nurses Week! I want to say thank you for not only looking after me really well after I was brought into E.R. following an IVF egg collection that went bad, but also for being wonderfully helpful now as I start my pregnancy journey with my donor egg. This is a very exciting and happy time for me, and everyone I have spoken to at BMC, including those who work the phones, has been really lovely. What you do day in and day out changes lives and gives people hope. You are wonderful human beings. Thank you.
Thank you for your unwavering commitment, strength, and compassion. Your hard work and empathy make a lasting difference in the lives of so many. I deeply admire the care and support you provide every day, you are the heart of Boston Medical Center. Special thanks to Jennifer and all the incredible nurses who inspire us with their dedication.
Happy Nurses Week. Thank you and may God bless you and keep you healthy and strong.

When the COVID pandemic was raging, BMC nurses gave me my vaccines. Thank you BMC nurses for your life-saving work!
Nurse Brian continues to be the there for me when I need his support the most. Whether it’s clarifying what’s next, or helping with something that has happened, he’s got my back! Thank you, Brian, for everything!
Happy Nurses Week, I just had a procedure yesterday. I was reminded how much great work you do. Thank you.
Happy Nurses Week! Thank you for taking care of me after my injury! So thankful for you all and what you do every day!
Keep up the excellent services BMC nurses do.
I just wanna say how much that I appreciate everything that you guys do. There aren’t enough words to describe how wonderful that all the doctors and nurses are at BMC.
To my favorite RNs — Antonette Grant, Latonya Baker, Priscilla Stout, and Christine Naoum. Even though I don’t work with you day to day anymore, I continue to be inspired by the incredible work you do at BMC — in OBGYN, Pediatrics, and beyond. Thank you for showing up with compassion, strength, and grace every single day. Your care leaves a lasting impact on patients, families, and the entire BMC community. Happy National Nurses Week – you deserve to be celebrated today and every day.
Happy National Nurses Week!
OMG Thank you!!! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. You make a world of a difference. It was a nurse that shared my diagnosis with me. The way in which my nurse delivered the news was just – perfect. Or, at least, as perfect as can be. You know how they say “it’s not what you say, it’s how you say it”? Well – perfect saying for the occasion. Thank you for everything you have done for me since! You’ve – literally – always been there. My sister is a nurse – I love you guys!
Once I told an ER nurse that he was very special & that I really appreciated how much kindness and care he extended to my husband. He said, “We all feel the same way. I just try to treat people like I would want them to treat my parents.” And he did.
Happy Nurses Week to all the amazing nurses at BMC. The care that my husband received was caring, patient, and excellent. The nursing staff in the SICU unit were extraordinary, both in the care and advocacy for my husband but also their care for me and my family. A special shoutout to Shelley on the SICU floor – her care was amazing, her experience with brain injury helped us navigate lots of challenges and her special personality makes her an amazing nurse. Shelley often checked in on my husband and my family even when she was not his nurse – the care went beyond the hospital room. She and her team went above and beyond to care for my husband. Thank you!!! I am forever grateful.
Thank you for all that you do! You have one of the most difficult but most important jobs, and one that is often thankless. You are appreciated by your patients, whose lives you change and improve on a daily basis.
Thank you to all the nurses at BMC. You are always there to help, to tell us what is going on, to interpret the jargon, to sit with us when difficult news is presented. You are the face of compassion. Thank you for all you do!
Nurses at BMC do a phenomenal job of caring for patients like myself and my family. Thank you for your services!
Muchas gracias por su exelente trabajo, espero que tengan una excelente semana.
Thank you very much for your dedicated professional service.
I’m grateful to the BMC staff, to the nurses in particular. If I’m still breathing, it is incontestably the consequence of your unconditional care. You are second only to the Mighty Lord. Thank you
Thank you very much for your quality care, support, understanding of my concerns and needs, and for just being so wonderful!
I believe nurses are always there to help us through those tough times. Examinations, news about a loved one, or a diagnosis that is tough to hear. BMC nurses are always there to get us through. Thanks for your service!
