To the amazing labor & delivery and mother & baby nurses at BMC, thank you so much for the care, kindness, and support you gave me during my hospital stay. During my emergency C-section and recovery, your compassion and dedication helped me through one of the most difficult experiences of my life. The nurses were the ones who made me feel seen, supported, and safe. Your patience, comfort, and professionalism made an unbearable situation feel more manageable, and I will never forget the care you gave me and my baby. As a member of the BMC staff, your care made me feel especially proud to be part of a team with such compassionate and dedicated nurses. The kindness and humanity you showed during such a vulnerable time meant more than words can express. Thank you for everything you do every day and for the difference you made during such a painful and emotional time.
My nurse coordinator, Karen Curreri on the transplant team, made my kidney donor journey a wonderfully smooth and successful journey. She was always ready with, or willing to find the answer every question I had. She even came to see me in the hospital, after my donation, on her day off. She’s is a great addition to the transplant team.
Thank you for all that you do. You’re the best!

This is a thank you to the nursing staff in the nursery at BMC! My husband and I adopted a precious, strong, little baby boy from BMC last January. By the time we matched with birth mom and was able to meet him, he was five days old. We are forever grateful for the team of nurses who took care of our son as if he was their own, until we could get there to love him! They were supportive, loving and so sweet. It means a lot to know that he was in such good hands for those days leading up to our arrival.
