Addressing Social Determinants of Health: Yvonne’s Story
When Yvonne found herself unable to afford her rent, she and her family faced eviction. Boston Medical Center prevented that from happening and also helped Yvonne find affordable housing. Addressing social determinants of health—like housing—is just one way BMC is working toward making Boston the healthiest urban population by 2030, as part of its Vision 2030 initiative.
